Benjamin... I usually use these with any Exchange 2007 install, including SBS 2008:

remote.mycompany.com (unless you prefer mail.mycompany.com)
autodiscover.mycompany.com
servername.domain.local (FQDN of your server)
servername (basic servername)
portal.mycompany.com (often use this for a SharePoint portal, especially in non-SBS scenarios)

Sean... Does the wizard in SBS still generate the proper CSR for GoDaddy's new requirements of needing a 2048-bit CSR? If not, is there anything special about the wizard that I couldn't just go to the IIS7 Default Web site to generate the CSR and install?

Sean, I appreciate the article! Here's a quick question: what names do I need to include on the certificate when I generate it for my standard SBS 2008 server? I understand that I should include remote.mycompany.com, but what else should I use? I was considering this list:

remote.mycompany.com
autodiscover.mycompany.com

Are there any others for a "standard" cert for a "standard" SBS 2008 install? Thanks! :)
